Rudy Maxa is one of America's best-best known travel writers and broadcasters. As an award-winning contributing editor with National Geographic Traveler magazine and host of "Smart Travels" and the Emmy-award-winning "Rudy Maxa's World" on public television, he's earned a reputation that fits his moniker on public radio, "The Savvy Traveler."

His hour-long radio call-in show on the CBS all-talk station in Los Angeles, KFWB News Talk 980, "Rudy Maxa's World is broadcast every Sunday afternoon from 2 to 3 o'clock Pacific time. For live, real-time streaming of the show as well as podcasts, visit KFWB.com/rudy. "Rudy Maxa's World" is broadcast on more than 100 stations coast to coast every Saturday morning from 10 to noon Eastern time, though many stations delay broadcast until later in the day as well as on Sunday. The show is also broadcast Saturday night on Sirius/XM Radio at 10 p.m. Eastern on Channel 152. The show's web site is under construction.
